- How do I purchase a single connection?
You can purchase a connection on the Wayport Welcome Page. Once your computer is plugged in or connected to our Wayport _Access wireless network, simply launch an Internet browser, like Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer, and you should be redirected to our Wayport Welcome Page. If you are not automatically redirected, try http://www.wayport.net/wwp/. This may trigger the Wayport Welcome Page if it does not display automatically. On the Wayport Welcome Page, click ‘Connection Options’ and then click on ‘Buy a Connection’. The connection fee will either give you the option to add the connection charge to your room bill or you will be prompted to pay with a credit card. - How much does it cost to purchase a single connection?
Connection fees vary by location. Please view the Wayport Welcome Page (at no charge) to verify the connection costs for your specific location. - How long will a single connection last?
Connection expiration times vary by location. Hotel connections (in the guestroom) are either valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase or will expire at the hotel’s checkout time each day. If a hotel connection is purchased within four hours of the designated expiration time, it will roll-over to that time the next day. This is what we refer to as a ‘four-hour grace period’. McDonald’s and Hertz connections are sold in two-hour blocks and airport connections are valid until midnight each day. Please double-check the Wayport Welcome Page to verify the connection expiration time for your location. - Will I be refunded for any unused time on a single connection?
We cannot issue partial refunds. Your connection time will be available from the time of purchase until the designated expiration time. Please check the Wayport Welcome Page to verify the connection expiration time for your location. - Does Wayport offer any subscription/membership services?
Yes, Wayport offers monthly and annual membership plans in the U.S. and Canada and weekly, monthly and annual subscription plans in Europe through Wayport EMEA. Prepaid cards allow you to purchase multiple connections at a discounted rate for use at many Wayport locations. Click here to purchase a prepaid card for use at participating U.S. Wayport locations. In the U.S., you have the option of purchasing three connections for $25, eight connections for $50, or twenty connections for $100. Prepaid or ‘cash cards’ in Europe are sold by our venue partners in local currency; purchase a Wayport prepaid card in Europe at the hotel front desk. - Can I purchase a connection or membership over the phone?
Connections can only be purchased with a credit card on the Wayport Welcome Page, or added to the room bill (at a hotel). You can only sign up for memberships on our Web site with a credit card. For security purposes, we do not accept credit card information over the phone.
