In the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and the Four Seasons Hotels in Europe:
- Start with your Wi-Fi enabled device turned off.
- Turn your device on and ensure that it is connected to the Wayport_Access SSID/Network Name
- Launch your Internet browser (like Microsoft Internet Explorer) and you should see the Wayport Welcome Page. Select a connection option and within seconds, you can be online. If you do not see the Wayport Welcome Page, you may need to configure the SSID or Network Name to Wayport_Access.
For European locations (except the Four Seasons)
- Start with your Wi-Fi enabled device turned off.
- Turn your device on and ensure that it is connected to the netpoint SSID/Network Name
- Launch your Internet browser (like Microsoft Internet Explorer) and you should see the Wayport Welcome Page. Select a connection option and within seconds, you can be online. If you do not see the Wayport Welcome Page, you may need to configure the SSID or Network Name to netpoint.

- Turn your device on and launch your Internet browser (like Microsoft Internet Explorer) and you should see the Wayport Welcome Page.
- Select a connection option and within seconds, you can be online.

In Microsoft Windows XP:- Click Start.
- Choose Control Panel or Settings > Control Panel.
- Click the link in the left hand column that says Switch to Classic View.
- If you see a link that says Switch to Category View, proceed to the next step.
- Double left-click on Network Connections.
- Right-click on your Wireless Network Connection and choose View Available Wireless Networks.
- Click on the network labeled Wayport_Access and click the Connect button to the lower right.
- If there is not a Connect button, but there is a Disconnect button, you are already connected to our network. Proceed to step (h).
- If you receive a message that says “Windows cannot configure this wireless network..." you are using a 3rd party wireless utility and will need to contact your wireless card manufacturer.
- You may receive a message that asks "If you wish to connect to the unsecured network…" Choose to proceed, as this simply means that we do not use WEP encryption.
- At this point you should receive our Wayport Welcome Page upon opening your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, etc…).
- Should you not receive this page, try navigating to www.wayport.net/wwp.
- How do I disable my Wi-Fi card, since I’m connecting with an Ethernet cable?
- Click Start.
- Choose Control Panel or Settings > Control Panel.
- Click the link in the left hand column that says "Switch to Classic View".
- If you see a link that says "Switch to Category View", proceed to the next step.
- Double left click on Network Connections.
- Right click on your "Wireless Network Connection" and choose Disable.
- If you do not have the Disable option, but do have the Enable option, your wireless connection is already disabled.
- I’ve followed the steps, but I still can’t connect. What else can I try?
If you are connecting in a hotel room , try unplugging the power from the in-room equipment used to connect, for fifteen to thirty seconds, and then plugging it back in. This simple practice is sometimes referred to as power cycling. Sometimes a build up of power occurs that prevents the in-room room equipment from functioning properly. Power cycling flushes this build up and restores functionality to the device.
