  1. Does Wayport offer membership plans?
    Yes, Wayport offers monthly and annual membership plans in the U.S. and Canada and weekly, monthly and annual subscription plans in Europe through Wayport EMEA.

  2. What is the Wayport Annual Membership?
    The Wayport Annual Membership provides unlimited access at Wayport locations for $29.95 per month, with a one-year agreement. Your credit card will be charged $29.95 each month for 12 months, and will continue to bill $29.95 on a month-to-month basis after the year is completed, until you cancel the membership. Canceling a membership before twelve months have elapsed will result in a $100 cancellation fee. Click here for more information.
  3. How will I be billed and what is the billing cycle for the Annual Membership?
    A credit card is required to pay for a Wayport memberships. Monthly charges continue to bill on the date you signed up for the membership. For example, if you sign up for a membership on January 13th, you will not be billed again until February 13th, and monthly charges will continue to bill on the 13th of each month.
  4. How many computers/devices are allowed to utilize the Annual Membership? Up to 3 devices per month are allowed to connect per membership. Our system tracks connections by MAC address, which is a unique identifier for your network device. If you connect once with a wired Ethernet adaptor, and later connect with a wireless adaptor, that counts as two of the three allowed MAC addresses, even if those two devices are in the same computer. If that limit is exceeded, the account may be suspended until a Wayport representative is contacted for resolution.
  5. If I cancel my Annual Membership before the contract is up, will I have to pay a cancellation fee?
    Yes, our Annual Membership comes with a one-year agreement. If you cancel your account before the year contract is complete, your credit card will be charged $100.
  6. What is the Wayport Month-to-Month Membership?
    The Wayport Month-to-Month Membership provides access at Wayport locations for $49.95 per month, with no annual contract. The membership will bill your credit card $49.95 each month until you suspend the account It allows you to connect every day in a given month for only one charge of $49.95. You may disable the account at any time, and for any length of time. Simply reactive your account when you are ready to start using the Month-to-Month membership again. Click here for more information.

    To disable a Month-to-Month account, simply visit our Web site and click on ‘ Membership’.  You can also re-enable your Month-to-Month membership by going to this link.
  10. If I disable my Month-to-Month Membership, will I have to pay a cancellation fee?
    There is no cancellation fee for our Month-to-Month membership. The Month-to-Month membership continues to bill monthly until you suspend the account. To avoid having your credit card charged each month, you will need to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the first day of your next month of service.
  11. For how long can I leave my Month-to-Month Membership disabled?
    Your Month-to-Month membership can be disabled for an indefinite amount of time. Simply reactivate the account to begin using services.
  12. How do I re-enable my Wayport Month-to-Month Membership?
    To re-enable a Month-to-Month account, simply visit our Web site, click on ‘Manage Your Account’  and follow the instructions to re-enable your membership.
  13. How do I login with a Wayport Membership? (U.S. instructions)
    Under ‘Connection Options’ on the Wayport Welcome Page, there will be an option for ‘Use Wayport Membership’. After you have chosen this option, you will need to enter your username, password, and agree to our Acceptable Use Policy to connect.
  14. How do I change the password for my membership?
    Passwords can be changed via account management by clicking on 'Manage Your Account' on our Web page.
  15. How do I update my membership billing or contact information?
    Membership billing and contact information can be updated via account management by clicking on 'Manage Your Account' on our Web page.
  16. How do I cancel my Wayport Membership?
    Wayport memberships can be cancelled via account management by clicking on 'Manage Your Account' on our Web page.
Prepaid Cards

  1. What is a Prepaid Card?
    Prepaid cards allow you to purchase multiple connections at a discounted rate for use at many Wayport locations. In the U.S., you have the option of purchasing three connections for $25, eight connections for $50, or twenty connections for $100. Prepaid or ‘cash cards’ in Europe are sold by our venue partners in local currency; purchase a Wayport prepaid card in Europe at the hotel front desk.
  2. How do I purchase a Prepaid Card?

  3. Where can I use my U.S. Prepaid Card?
    Prepaid Connection Cards are valid at most Wayport locations - hotels, airports, McDonald's Hertz) nationwide. Wayport prepaid cards may not be used in hotel meeting rooms and in locations outside the U.S.
  4. If I use a U.S. Prepaid Card, how long will my connection last?
    Prepaid card connections last until the next check-in time in hotel guest rooms, until midnight in hotel lobbies, airports and Hertz locations and for up to two hours at McDonald's locations.
  5. For how long does a Prepaid Card remain active?
    Prepaid cards remain active for 180 days after purchase. Prepaid cards are activated upon purchase.
  6. How do I login with a Prepaid Card? (U.S. instructions)
    Under ‘Connection Options’ on the Wayport Welcome Page, there will be an option for "Prepaid Card Connection" After you have chosen this option, you will need to enter your Prepaid Card Number and agree to our Acceptable Use Policy to connect.
